Encouraged by success In every performance, one inescapable moment of ecstasy is discovered. It’s that moment when the playwright’s words, the composer’s music, the director’s vision, the performer’s expression and the audience’s suspension of disbelief is all united in one breath. We all laugh or cry or applaud or fall silent to linger in the feeling, then it passes. It will never be repeated, no other audience will share that moment, it is fleeting. It has happened for me so deeply that I know I must always chase the next moment through hard work, insatiable curiosity and passionate interest. I look to work on projects that are inspired, even if they are simply light-hearted crowd-pleasers. It is the creative people that the work is developed with that keep me going. I shall always return to directors and producers that have contagious passion. Stepping Up
